I didn't originally go to AutoZone to buy this, but on the aisle was the Invisible Glass reach tool. Triangle shaped head on a pivoting handle for doing windshields etc. Comes with three bonnets, 2 of which are micro-fibre. What clinched my decision to but it was a free can of the aeorsol spray with each purchase. $14.99 for the tool and spray can.
Got home, tried it, and it really does make the job easier than me stretching from one side of the car to the other, hitting the rearview mirror out of alignment, etc.
fwiw, the hook on the end of the handle unscrews to accept extension poles. Guess that helps around the house.
In effect I paid about $10 to replace something I used to do by hand. Their free can special ends first week in July. |

| The rear window on the Infiniti is a PITA and I bet that thing would make it easier. I think I will go pick one up as well - good find! |

| I find you don't need to use their bonnets - I wrapped my own MF cloth on the triangle shaped head without any problems. The foam on the triangle head kept my own MF cloth in place. |

Ya know, you could do the same thing by wrapping a MF around a spatula. We offered that little trick in Guru Reports back in '03.
Just sayin'....... _________________ I love the feel of fine Corinthian leather |

I had tried that in the past, but gave it up because my hand and knuckles kept hitting the glass. The angle of the handle versus the cleaning surface was too narrow. Maybe I just have fat hands? |
